SPRING (Singapore Bureau of Standards, Productivity and Innovation, referred to as SPRING) is Singapore’s safety regulatory agency. It has promulgated the consumer protection (safety requirements) registration program CPS. CPS controls the quality of 45 household appliances, electronics, and gas products. It meets specific safety requirements to protect the interests of consumers. Regulated products must obtain safety certification and pass SPRING registration, and certified products must be affixed with the SPRING SAFETY MARK mark (ie PSB certification) before they can be sold.
The Singapore Industry and Commerce Bureau announced that consumer goods-CONTROLLEDGOODS announced must meet the requirements of safety standards. Singapore's consumer protection (safety standard) registration scheme also has this requirement.
It is mandatory to apply for PSB certification for listed electrical products. Before the product enters Singapore, a company with tax registration in Singapore must be the holder of the PSB application (the company provides a Singaporean business, which can be used as the Holders). Products can only be sold in Singapore after obtaining PSB.
