NRTL refers to Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory, the abbreviation of English Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory, which is a laboratory accreditation program for safety certification led by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) under the U.S. Department of Labor. The Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) requires that products used in the workplace must be tested and certified by a nationally recognized laboratory to ensure the personal safety of users. NRTL laboratories have the right to conduct relevant tests on products and issue corresponding product safety certificates after the products pass all relevant tests.
